The Florida Prevention Partnership
(FPP) is a partnership between a host of agencies under the leadership
of Mr. Bill Janes, Director of the State of Florida Office
of Drug Control.
For the past several years the FPP
has planned the Florida Statewide Prevention Conference, which
has continually grown in its scope and has become the state's
premiere conference on substance abuse prevention topics. One
of Florida’s goals is to cut drug use in half by 2005. This
conference goes a long way towards furthering and bringing cohesiveness
of this goal to Florida’s Prevention leaders. This site
was created to take this goal to another level.
It is our hope that prevention leaders,
professionals, youth, parents and others interested in Prevention
in Florida can find everything that they need to
assist them in helping accomplish this goal.
